Pixley & District Parish Council

DIARY DATE – DIARY DATE – DIARY DATE

Saturday 18th October 2025

Calling all households in Aylton, Little Marcle, Munsley and Pixley for an Open Parish Meeting for all parishioners at Munsley WI Hall between 2pm and 6pm on Saturday 18th October.

FREE HI TEC SECURITY SYSTEM

With the help of the Police Smart Water Scheme, Pixley & District Council is able to give FREE Smart Water kits to every household in our parishes.

Smart Water is a traceable liquid forensic asset marking system, applied to items of value as a deterrent.  Stronger and more accurate than DNA, Smart Water protects your property and deters criminals who know they can be forensically identified and convicted more easily.  Come along on Saturday 18th October to claim your FREE kit and talk to an expert member of the police. Please collect and register your free kit – we need 70% of the kits to be registered before the parish will recieve free signs, indicating the area is protected by Smart Water!

COMMUNITY GARDEN LAUNCH

An imaginative new project in our parish is proposed by Haygrove Community Garden Charity.  Come along on Saturday 18th Oct to hear from Cath Baker all about the exciting plans to build a Community Garden next to the Nest Café on the Hereford Road.

MUNSLEY HALL REGENERATION

Munsley WI Hall has served our community since 1936.  Come along on Saturday 18th Oct to hear from the Womens Institute of the latest plans to refurbish this well loved local venue and ensure that it stays fit for purpose long after its centenary in 2036.

REFRESHMENTS

As if all that is not enough to entice you out on Saturday 18th Oct… Come for FREE TEA AND CAKE and meet your local councillors
