Welcome to Pixley & District

An English Civil Parish within the County of Herefordshire Unitary Authority

Pixley & District Parish Council encompasses the Parishes of Aylton, Little Marcle, Munsley & Pixley within the unitary authority of Herefordshire to form this Civil Parish.
The Council holds bi-monthly meetings at Munsley W.I. Hall starting at 7.30pm, however for any urgent or pressing matters meetings are called as required. Agenda’s & Minutes are available to view and download from this website.
From working farms, local artisan businesses, extensive footpaths enabling engagment with the outdoors, fresh air, exercise and mental wellbeing, this Parish has a lot of suprises in store.

2026 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

The Marcle & District Poppy Appeal for 2026 is gearing up for another busy year. If you have a village event or fundriser coming up we would be happy to attend and also support local communities. Volenteers welcome during the October / November Poppy Appeal lead-up to Remembrance.

New gate installed on footpath LM3, (Little Marcle 3).

The provision of the new gate will aid access along this well loved footpath, your Parish Council is fully commited to supporting the legacy of footpaths.

Footpath Bridges Repaired

Herefordshire Council rebuild the major footpath bridge AL1/LM8 and Aylton PC in conjunction with Putley PC repair AL4/PT6 on the Herefordshire Trail in time for the Big Apple Blossomtime.
