Footpath Bridges Repaired
Herefordshire Council rebuild the major footpath bridge AL1/LM8 and Aylton PC in conjunction with Putley PC repair AL4/PT6 on the Herefordshire Trail in time for the Big Apple Blossomtime.

The hard work continues in maintaining the Parish’s Bridges.
Due to it’s complexity plus the concrete structure the County Council stepped in after much consultation to carry out the rebuild of the bridge of where the paths of Aylton 1 and Little Marcle 8 meet (AL1/LM8), this has enabled these footpaths to be fully accessible again after many years.
Aylton PC teamed up with Putley PC to repair the bridge on the Hereford Trail at the point where the two Parish’s meet, Aylton 4 & Putley 6, (AL4/PT6). This is not only an important County footpath but forms part of the route for the annual Big Apple Blossomtime.
